In typical Remembrance Day weather, cool with a light mist of rain falling, Etobicoke paid tribute to its veterans of many conflicts past and present. Many decorated veterans proudly displayed their medals on their chest, while remembering those who are no longer amongst us and those that made the ultimate sacrifice.
The well attended service was held at Etobicoke’s Civic Centre. The service began inside and then paraded outside to the cenotaph for they laying of the wreaths, playing of the last post and a few additional words and prayers.
